Hellooo foodies! How you guys doing? Thank God, we finally have a long weekend. So today, i'm gona review abot some restaurants in Menteng. The restaurant's name is Cali Deli.
Cali deli is a Vietnam style restaurant that have been stood in Jakarta since 2006. I've been curious about this restaurant since i watched them in "Rekomendasi O'Channel". And now this restaurant already has 7 outlets across Jakarta.
And The outlet that I've visited is located at Surabaya street, Menteng. The Outlets in Menteng is more spacious than other outlets. This restaurant has a modern tropical style interior, with some attractive decoration. And the atmosphere of the restaurant is very beautiful and comfortable.
Sandwich is their featured menu. I think their menu is a fusion menu from Vietnam and French. They use French Baguette bread for all sandwiches. The sandwiches that they have are very diverse, they have Tuna Egg sandwich, Chicken BBQ sandwich, Cali Deli Love sandwich, Beef Satay sandwich, etc. Besides sandwiches, they also have a Vietnam style coffee, soup, pasta and salad.
The menus that I order are, BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Cali Deli Love Sandwich, Orange Juice and Summer Freeze.
BBQ Chicken Sandwich (IDR 55K)
A Big sandwich filled with blackpapper beef, pickels, and veggies. The taste is very delicious, the bread has a crunchy texture, the beef and pickles are very tasty. I like it more than a bbq chicken sandwich. LOVE IT!
Cali Deli Love (IDR 65K)
A big sandwich filled with marinated bbq chicken, carrot, lettuce, cucumbers and pickles. The taste is pretty good, the bread is very crunchy outside, and the pickles are also tasty. Unfortunately, the chicken in the sandwich tasted a little bit bland and lacking of bbq flavor. But overall, AMAZING.
This is a kind of soda drink that contains with soda and lemonade with some garnish Actually I do not really like soda, but the drink is quite good and refreshing. The taste have a bit sweet and sour from the lemonade. Overall, I LIKE IT!
Orange Juice (IDR 35K)
This is a ordinary orange juice with some ice cube and garnish. The drink is also quite refreshing, it's not too sweet. It is very suitable to be a companion drink for sandwich. Overall for this drink, I LOVE IT!
Overall I think their food is pretty satisfying. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant premises were very comfortable and attractive. They also provides a very fast connection Wifi internet. Next time I will come again and try another sandwich menu and their soup.
